I’ve been a thousand times to Paris and still I’ll never get bored of it.
Paris is a city that lives you can go to museums, restaurants, cafes, parks or if it’s your first time go to the many touristic monuments like Sacre Coeur, Arc de Triomphe, Louvre,… You’ll always find something to do. I managed to do and see stuff that I hadn’t before.
But first of all because we were so lucky with the amazing weather. We started our journey with a drink under the Pond Alexandre III. One of the most beautiful bridges in Paris.
Some bubbles and a sunset never hurt no one.
It reinforces the romantic side of the City of love.
And what’s more romantic than going to the Sommet of the Eiffel Tower and take in the lovely view on 281m high. You’ll think I’m crazy or weird but I’ve actually been a thousand times to Paris and the Eiffel Tower since I was born. I used to spend my long weekends here but I never ever went on the tower. So this was my very first time. We took the elevator to the 2nd floor to change into another elevator that took us to the Sommet, the top of the tower. Surprisingly it didn’t take long to get to the height of 281m.
The view was amazing. I loved seeing the lights of the city, in a way it gave me a calm feeling and nothing was more important at that moment than the view.
We decided to go to the Louis Vuitton Foundation, a spectacular building with great art collections. Pity for us the galleries were closed but we were able to visit the
Seeing it on the outside it looks like an colourful iceberg in the middle of the trees.
The closer you come the more you appreciate the details.
What impressed me the most was the colourful play to the light insight the building.
On every level you can learn a little more about how everything was created and on the last 2 platforms there are terrasses with amazing lighting and an unique view of Paris.
Let’s not forget the ground floor. There is a hallway with yellow and mirrored columns that
leads you to the water stairs. Let me enjoy a little bit more this memories and I’ll come back to you with the rest of my trip.
To be continued…
